Freezing cold winters call for all of the warm veggies, and these Brussels Sprouts hit the spot all too perfectly! For those of you who think you hate Brussels, I promise these will win you over forever.
I have totally had a love-hate relationship with Brussels Sprouts growing up. I went from hating them, to eating way too much of them too often, then to swearing them off because I was so over them and now I am absolutely back to loving them! But, in reasonable amounts obvi, so I can continue to eat them with pleasure and not get tired of them!
This was a total spur of the moment, need to make something quick & green to go with organic seared chicken thighs for dinner, but it was a total winner. The sweet & spicy marinade is sooooo good, honestly I put it all over my chicken too and seared it in a cast iron, SO GOOD….but that recipe will be coming!
These Brussels Sprouts with caramelized mouth watering onions are straight up delicious. If you want to make this a little more hearty, it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world if you decided to add some organic heritage breed bacon, free of antibiotics & hormones. Because, YES if you eat meat, the quality of the meat is so so important, but for another post, another time.
I am thinking next time, I may need to add some baecon, now there is just no way I can't!
